Terms of Use

1. About these terms

DreamEd AI is an IELTS Writing and Speaking practice tool from the Dream.Ed Foundation, built on Shirin Akter's books. By using it, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use DreamEd AI.

2. Band scores are estimates

DreamEd AI's bands and feedback are estimates from AI, to guide your practice. They can be wrong, they are not official IELTS scores, and they don't guarantee any result in the real test. Dreamy's Speaking bands are an early estimate (beta): they come from the text of what it heard, so pronunciation is judged from your words, not yet from your sound, and Dreamy's marking is still being checked against Shirin Akter's.

DreamEd AI is independent. It is not connected with, or approved by, the British Council, IDP or Cambridge University Press & Assessment, which run IELTS. IELTS is a trademark of its owners.

3. Your account

• An account is for one person. Please don't share it.
• Use an email address that is yours, and keep your sign-in safe.
• You are responsible for what happens in your account.

4. Plans and checks

• Each time DreamEd AI marks a Task 1 or Task 2 answer, it uses one check. A full mock test uses two, one for each task. If marking fails, you get the check back.
• On Free, checks renew every 30 days. On Plus and Pro, half of the month's checks are yours every 15 days (10 and 20), counted back from the day your plan ends. Checks you don't use don't carry over.
• A plan of 1, 3 or 6 months lasts 30, 90 or 180 days from the day we switch it on.
• If you buy the plan you already have, the new time is added to the end. If you choose a different plan, it starts straight away, and the days left on your old plan are added to it.
• When a plan ends, your account goes back to Free.
• A student on Free who has never had a plan can try Plus free for 3 days, once per person (one email address, with or without dots and tags). No payment is needed and nothing is charged; afterwards the account goes back to Free.
• When a friend signs up with your invite link and checks their first answer, you both get 3 extra checks (you, for up to 5 friends in 30 days). Extra checks are used after your plan's checks and don't run out. They have no cash value and can't be passed on. Inviting yourself, or using made-up or throwaway accounts, isn't allowed; we may refuse or remove extra checks given that way.
• We may change plans and prices in the future. A change never affects a plan you have already paid for, until it ends.

5. Paying for a plan

• Pay the exact amount shown at checkout to the bKash or Nagad number shown there, then enter the number you paid from and the transaction ID.
• Your plan starts once we have matched your payment, usually within a few hours. It can take longer at busy times.
• If we can't find your payment, or the amount is different, we won't switch the plan on. You'll see the reason on your My plan page, and you can contact us.
• Please double-check the number before you pay. We can't get back money sent to a different number.
• Prices are in Bangladeshi Taka.

6. Refunds

If we can't switch on the plan you paid for, we will refund your payment to the number you paid from. Once a plan has started, payments are not refundable, unless DreamEd AI is unavailable for a long time while your plan is active, or the law says otherwise.

7. Your writing

• Your writing belongs to you.
• You allow us to process it to give you feedback, which includes sending it to our AI provider, as our Privacy Policy explains. We don't publish it or use it to train AI.
• Only submit writing you have the right to use, and don't include personal details such as phone numbers or addresses.
• If you write a review of DreamEd AI, it must be your own honest experience. By sending it, you allow us to show it on DreamEd AI with the name you chose and your plan. We read every review first, and we may choose not to show one, or take it down later.

8. Speaking with Dreamy

• Dreamy is counted in sessions every 30 days: a Part 1 practice, a Parts 2 & 3 practice, a Part 2 recording, a chat or a Basic English lesson is one session, and a full mock test is 3. Free has 1 session (not the mock test), Plus 12 and Pro 30. Sessions you don't use don't carry over. A test that never got an answer is given back.
• A session starts when a test begins, when Dreamy first replies in a chat, or when it checks the first sentence of a lesson. A chat lasts 20 of Dreamy's replies; then you can start another.
• Record only your own voice, and only answers you are happy for Dreamy to hear and mark.
• There are also daily limits, so Dreamy stays available for everyone.

9. The books' content

The practice questions, model answers, idea mind maps, phrases and explanations in DreamEd AI come from Shirin Akter's books and belong to her and the Dream.Ed Foundation. You may use them for your own study. Please don't copy, publish, share or sell them, or pass them to people who don't have access.

On the Pro plan you can read Shirin Akter's books here, for your own study, on one device at a time and up to 200 pages a day. Each page carries your email and a reader code. Photographing, screenshotting, copying or sharing the pages, or letting others use your account to read them, is not allowed: we may close the account without a refund, and the Dream.Ed Foundation may take further action to protect its books.

10. Fair use

Please don't:

• use scripts, bots or other automated tools with DreamEd AI;
• try to get around the check or session limits, plans or access codes;
• share your account, or use someone else's;
• submit anything harmful, abusive or illegal;
• try to break, overload or copy DreamEd AI.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. A plan lost this way is not refunded.

11. Changes and availability

DreamEd AI is new, and we will keep improving it, so its features may change. It may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance or when our AI provider has a problem. We'll try to warn you about big changes.

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is important, we'll tell signed-in students in DreamEd AI before it applies.

12. Our responsibility

We work hard to make DreamEd AI accurate and helpful, but we provide it “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as a test result or a missed opportunity, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid for your current plan. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law.

13. Contact and the law

You can stop using DreamEd AI at any time, and ask us to delete your account. For any question about these terms, your plan or a payment, write to dreamedfoundation07@gmail.com.

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
